Rick's Wine & Gourmet is a locally owned, neighborhood wine, beer and gourmet shop located west of Old Town Alexandria. Stop by to browse our huge wine and beer selection, get advice on the perfect wine and food pairing, or step up to our tasting table every day to sample our amazing selection of wines from around the world. You'll be sure to tickle your palate with something new.
On Saturdays, we also have tastings of some of our hundreds of beers ranging from American craft brews to traditional European imports.
Finally, don't forget the accompaniments. We have a variety of cut-to-order cheeses, charcuterie, made-to-order sandwiches, and many other delicious items. Visit us soon!

Mother's Day is this Sunday. Make sure you stop by for a delicious bottle of bubbles and some chocolates or a fancy jar of gourmet jam. If you are planning on cooking a special dinner to mark the day, we'd be happy to help you pair it with a stunning bottle of wine.
Bastille Restaurant on North Royal in Old Town is having a Rosé Wine Dinner on Monday, May 21, starting at 6.30 p.m. Young Brian Forsgren with Wine Traditions will be there to pour the five wines, tell you about them, and to enjoy your company over a delightful, mouthwatering meal. Our Wine Cruise has been filling up, but we still have more seats! Check those calendars and give us a call to make your reservation -- we don't want you to miss it. Our Wine Cruise will be on Thursday, May 24, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. with Beth Wolfe from Siema Wines. For $45 per person, we will be serving heavy appetizers and eight wines aboard the George Washington. We leave from and return to the Georgetown Dock. We'll see you there!
